WATCH THE REPLAY - SESSION 2

This is the second of three sessions in this English-speaking training.

In the following sessions, you will strengthen your fluency, accuracy, and confidence by mastering English consonant sounds for clearer pronunciation.

In this session we focused on different consonant types, including oral stops, affricates, fricatives, nasals, and approximants, along with common pronunciation challenges for native Spanish speakers such as the 'H', 'S', 'B', and 'V' sounds. The session concluded with practice on Australian English features like the "flapped T" and "dropped R" using tongue twisters and example words.

Each session will build on the last, ensuring steady progress towards your communication goals.

What we will cover in each session:

🔸 Introduction to the English sound system

🔸 Common problem areas for Spanish speakers

🔸 Articulation practice

🔸 Word and sentence practice

Expected Outcomes:

🔸 Increased awareness of the full range of English sounds.

🔸 Ability to hear and produce differences between commonly confused sounds.

🔸 Improved clarity and listener comprehension in speech.

🔸 More confident pronunciation in real-life and professional conversations.
